👔 Position Overview: Storekeeper & Logistics Coordinator
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
As the Storekeeper & Logistics Coordinator, you’ll be the backbone of the company’s supply and logistics operations:
- Inspect and receive materials: Check for any damage, discrepancies, or missing parts.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels and manage all incoming/outgoing transactions.
- Procurement Support: Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely ordering and delivery of materials.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the storage area neat, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Petty Cash Management: Handle day-to-day cash disbursements for projects.
- Logistics Oversight: Coordinate vehicle dispatch, delivery schedules, and material flow.
- Scrap Tracking: Receive and track unused or scrap materials returned from project sites.
- Team Leadership: Assist with training and supervising junior storekeepers.
💼 Requirements
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
- Experience in construction, fit-out, or MEP contracting.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Advanced MS Excel and ERP/Warehouse Management Systems skills.
- Deep understanding of procurement, delivery logistics, and material specifications.
- Capable of managing a team and mentoring junior staff.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
